The night
What New Year's Eve on a Dubai Marina cruise is like
Dubai Marina on New Year’s Eve is crowded on land: JBR and the Marina Walk fill up early and roads close in the afternoon. On the water you have a reserved seat, dinner and a clear horizon at midnight, without standing in a crowd.
Guests board at Dubai Harbour from 9:00 PM. The vessel leaves at 10:00 PM and cruises the Dubai Marina canal between the towers before heading out along JBR towards Bluewaters Island and Ain Dubai. The buffet is served while the vessel is moving, and the Tanoura dancer, teddy bear show and drums keep the atmosphere going towards the countdown.
Before midnight the captain takes up a viewing position for the coastal fireworks. After the countdown to 2027 there is the New Year cake and a non-alcoholic sparkling toast, then the vessel returns to Dubai Harbour at around 1:00 AM.

This is our regular Marina cruise route, adapted for New Year's Eve.
- Dubai Harbour: boarding and departure from Gate 3.
- Dubai Marina canal: towers on both sides, Cayan Tower, Pier 7 and the Dubai Marina Mall area.
- JBR coastline: the beachfront towers of Jumeirah Beach Residence from the water.
- Bluewaters Island and Ain Dubai: the observation wheel and island, depending on access on the night.
- Midnight viewing position: planned for views of the Atlantis The Palm and Burj Al Arab fireworks.
- Return to Dubai Harbour at around 1:00 AM.
On New Year's Eve the final route and position can change because of Coast Guard or authority instructions, marine traffic, congestion, safety and weather.

Which New Year's Eve fireworks can you see from a Dubai Marina cruise?
The Dubai Marina cruise is planned around the coastal displays. Before midnight, the vessel is positioned for views of the Atlantis The Palm and Burj Al Arab fireworks. Depending on where the vessel is held, guests may also see other displays along the coast.
Burj Khalifa: Downtown Dubai is far from the Marina, so this cruise is not the right choice if the Burj Khalifa show is your priority. For that, choose our New Year’s Eve dinner cruise on Dubai Water Canal.
Best spot for photos: the open-air upper deck. The lower deck has windows, but glass reflections make photos harder.
Fireworks viewing is subject to the vessel's final route, maritime restrictions, weather conditions, anchoring position and authority instructions. No exact distance, permanently unobstructed sightline or fixed anchoring position is promised.

New Year's Eve terms differ from our regular cruises. Please read them before paying.
- Advance payment: a 50% advance confirms your booking. The advance is non-refundable.
- Balance: the remaining balance is due before boarding.
- Late arrival and no-show: guests who arrive after the vessel has departed are treated as no-shows. A missed New Year’s Eve departure is non-refundable.
- Route and fireworks: Fireworks viewing is subject to the vessel’s final route, maritime restrictions, weather conditions, anchoring position and authority instructions.
- Weather and authorities: timings and routes can change on instructions from the Coast Guard or other authorities, or for safety and weather reasons.
- Children: up to and including 3 years free. Older children pay the full price. Regular-cruise child rules do not apply on New Year’s Eve.
- Seating and decks: seats and purchased decks are allocated.
- Food and drinks: outside food and drinks are not allowed. Alcohol is available at an extra charge for guests 21 and over with ID.
- Dress code: smart casual or festive. Bring a light jacket for the upper deck.

Prices are per person. Marina Standard is AED 600 on the lower deck and AED 800 on the upper deck. Marina Premium is AED 800 on the lower deck and AED 1,200 on the upper deck.
What is included in the NYE Marina cruise?

Where does the New Year's Eve Marina cruise depart from?
Both packages board at Dubai Harbour, Gate 3, on King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street next to Skydive Dubai. It is the same berth we use for our regular Dubai Marina dinner cruise.
What time does the cruise start and finish?
Boarding opens at 9:00 PM, the vessel departs at 10:00 PM and returns to Dubai Harbour at around 1:00 AM on 1 January 2027. We recommend arriving by 8:30 PM because of New Year’s Eve traffic and road closures.
Can we see the fireworks from the cruise?
The vessel is positioned before midnight for views of the Atlantis The Palm and Burj Al Arab fireworks. Fireworks viewing is subject to the vessel’s final route, maritime restrictions, weather conditions, anchoring position and authority instructions.
Can we see the Burj Khalifa fireworks from Dubai Marina?
Downtown Dubai is far from the Marina, so the Burj Khalifa show is not the focus of this cruise. If it is your priority, book our Water Canal New Year’s Eve cruise instead.
What is the difference between Standard and Premium?
Standard is on a modern cruise vessel with a 4★ international buffet. Premium is on a premium luxury yacht with a 5★ buffet and live stations. Boarding point, timings, entertainment and the midnight celebration are the same.
Should we book the lower deck or the upper deck?
The lower deck is enclosed and air-conditioned, which suits families and guests who prefer a quieter dinner. The upper deck is open-air and gives the clearest fireworks and skyline views. It costs AED 200 more on Standard and AED 400 more on Premium.
Are children allowed, and how are they charged?
Yes. Children up to and including 3 years old travel free. Older children pay the full adult price on New Year’s Eve.
Is alcohol served on board?
Alcoholic drinks are available at an extra charge for guests aged 21 and over with valid ID. Soft drinks and water are included. Outside food and drinks are not allowed.
Is the cruise suitable for wheelchair users and strollers?
Yes. Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome. Please mention it when you book so our team can help you board at Dubai Harbour.
Is parking available at Dubai Harbour on New Year's Eve?
Dubai Harbour has visitor parking, but on New Year’s Eve it can fill early and nearby roads may close. A taxi is usually easier. We send the latest arrival instructions with your booking confirmation.
What happens if the authorities change the route?
On New Year’s Eve the Coast Guard and other authorities control marine access. The captain follows their instructions, so the route, timing and viewing position can change on the night for safety, traffic or weather reasons.
Can I cancel my New Year's Eve booking?
The 50% advance that confirms a New Year’s Eve booking is non-refundable. Guests who miss the departure are treated as no-shows, and the booking is non-refundable.
