What is the difference between the Water Canal, Marina, and Creek cruises?

The Water Canal (Al Jaddaf) cruise passes through Downtown Dubai with close views of the Burj Khalifa, Business Bay, and Dubai Festival City — it is the most scenic for modern skyline photos and is our most popular route. The Marina cruise sails through Dubai Marina with views of JBR, Palm Jumeirah, and the marina towers. The Creek cruise takes you through historic Old Dubai past the Gold Souk, Spice Souk, and traditional abra docks. All three are 2-hour dinner cruises with buffet included.

Where exactly does the Water Canal cruise depart from?

Boarding is at Al Jaddaf Marine Station, located near the back of the Palazzo Versace Hotel in Al Jaddaf, Dubai. The easiest way to arrive is by car — free parking is available at Jameel Arts Centre, a 5-minute walk away. By Metro: take the Green Line to Al Jadaf Station and walk 8–10 minutes toward the waterfront. Our team will send you the exact pin location after you confirm your booking on WhatsApp.

Is the buffet dinner included in the price?

Yes — the international buffet dinner is included in every package at no extra cost. The buffet includes Arabic appetizers (hummus, fattoush, kibbeh), grilled chicken, fish, pasta, rice dishes, and a dessert station. Vegetarian and vegan options are always available. Unlimited soft drinks, water, juices, Arabic coffee, and tea are also included throughout the cruise. There are no hidden charges.

Can children join the cruise? Is it safe for families?

Absolutely — our cruises are very family-friendly and one of the most popular activities for families in Dubai. Children under 3 years old cruise free of charge. Children aged 3–11 are charged at a reduced children's rate. The dhow has safety rails throughout and the lower deck is fully air-conditioned, making it comfortable for young children and elderly guests. The entertainment (Tanoura dance, puppet show) is enjoyed by all ages.

What time does the Dubai Festival City IMAGINE show run?

The IMAGINE show at Dubai Festival City (the world's largest permanent outdoor sound, water, fire and laser show) typically runs at 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM, 9:00 PM, and 10:00 PM daily. The night cruise (8:30 PM departure) is timed so that you pass Festival City during the show — the captain will position the boat for the best view. Show times may change on weekends and public holidays so we recommend confirming on the day.

Is parking available at Al Jaddaf? How do I get there by Metro?

By car: Free street parking and a paid car park are available near Jameel Arts Centre and along the Jaddaf Waterfront promenade — a 5-minute walk from the boarding pier.

By Metro: Take the Green Line to Al Jadaf Metro Station. From the station, walk 8–10 minutes south along Marasi Drive toward the waterfront. In summer, a short taxi ride (approx. AED 10) is more comfortable due to the heat.

By taxi/Careem: Tell the driver "Al Jaddaf Marine Station, behind Palazzo Versace Hotel" — they will know it.

What is the difference between Basic, Economy, and Premium packages?

All three packages cruise the same route, include buffet dinner, soft drinks, and live entertainment. The difference is the boat:

• Basic (AED 35): Traditional wooden dhow with open upper deck and glass-window lower deck. Comfortable and classic.
• Economy (AED 39): Upgraded dhow with luxury padded seating, better lighting, and a more refined interior finish.
• Premium (AED 45): A private houseboat or luxury yacht with a rooftop terrace, premium furnishings, and a more exclusive feel. Best for special occasions and couples.

Can I cancel or change my booking?

Yes — we understand plans change in Dubai. Just message us on WhatsApp at least 3 hours before your departure time and we will reschedule you to any other available date and time at no charge. Since payment is made on arrival, there is no upfront payment to refund. For group bookings of 15+ people, please notify us 24 hours in advance.
